Equipment

  • 1 Pan or Kadai for cooking the makhani sauce and maggi
  • 1 Spatula / Ladle for stirring and mixing.
  • 1 blender/mixer To puree tomatoes and blend cashew paste.
  • 1 measuring Spoons & Cups for accurate ingredients measurement
  • 1 Knife & Chopping Board for chopping onions and coriander.

Ingredients
  

For the Makhani Sauce:

1 tbsp butter

1 tsp oil

½ tsp cumin seeds

½ cup chopped onions

1 tsp ginger-garlic paste

2 tomatoes, pureed

8-10 cashews, soaked & blended into a paste

1 tsp red chili powder

½ tsp turmeric powder

1 tsp coriander powder

½ tsp garam masala

1 tbsp tomato ketchup (optional, for extra tang)

½ cup milk or cream

1 tbsp kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves), crushed

Salt to taste

or Maggi:

1 packet Maggi noodles

1 ½ cups water

Maggi taste-maker masala (from the packet)

For Garnish:

1 tbsp grated cheese (optional)

1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves

A dash of black pepper

Instructions
 

  • instructions:
    1️⃣ Prepare the Makhani Sauce:
    • Heat butter and oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let them crackle.
    • Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
    • Stir in ginger-garlic paste and cook until raw smell disappears.
    • Pour in tomato puree and cook for 3-4 minutes.
    • Add cashew paste, red chili powder, turmeric, coriander powder, and garam masala. Cook until the oil separates.
    • Mix in tomato ketchup, milk/cream, and kasuri methi. Simmer for 2 minutes.
    2️⃣ Cook the Maggi:
    • In the same pan, add water and Maggi noodles.
    • Add Maggi taste-maker masala and cook until noodles are done.
    3️⃣ Final Touch:
    • Mix everything well so the Maggi absorbs the creamy makhani sauce.
    • Garnish with grated cheese, chopped coriander, and black pepper.
