Equipment

  • 1 Mixing bowl
  • 1 whisk
  • 1 Knife
  • 1 Cutting board
  • 1 Grater ( for parmesan )
  • 1 Tongs
  • 1 Blender ( optional for dressing )
  • 1 Baking sheet for croutons

Ingredients
  

  • 150 gram iceburg
  • 75 gram Romain lettuce
  • 5 gram croutons
  • 7 gram parmesan cheese
  • 40 gram Caesar dressing
  • 5 leaf's Fresh zaatar leaf for garnish
  • 3 leaf's micro greens for garnish
  • 10 gram Granola for Mediterranean touch

For the dressing:

  • 30 gram Mayonnaise
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 2 fillet anchovy
  • ½ tbsp Dijon mustard
  • ¼ tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Prepare the lettuce
    Wash and dry the Iceberg and Romain lettuce. Tear them into bite-sized pieces
    and place in mixing bowl.
  • Step 2: Make the Dressing ( if Homemade)
    In bowl, whisk together mayo, minced garlic, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and anchovy fillets.
    ✔ Slowly drizzle in olive oil, whisking continuously until emulsified.
    ✔ Season with salt & pepper to taste.
  • Step 3: Assemble the salad
    ✔ Add the croutons and grated Parmesan cheese to the lettuce.
    ✔ Pour The Caesar dressing over and toss gently to coat
  • Step 4: Garnish and Serve
    Sprinkle with zaatar leaves microgreens, and granola for extra flavor.
    ( Optional ) add grilled chicken or avocado slices for variation.
    ✔ Serve immediately and enjoy!

  • use Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise for a lighter dressing.
