- 1 Grater ( for parmesan )
- 1 Tongs
- 1 Blender ( optional for dressing )
- 1 Baking sheet for croutons
Ingredients
- 150 gram iceburg
- 75 gram Romain lettuce
- 5 gram croutons
- 7 gram parmesan cheese
- 40 gram Caesar dressing
- 5 leaf's Fresh zaatar leaf for garnish
- 3 leaf's micro greens for garnish
- 10 gram Granola for Mediterranean touch
For the dressing:
- 30 gram Mayonnaise
- 1 clove Garlic
- 2 fillet anchovy
- ½ tbsp Dijon mustard
- ¼
tsp Worcestershire sauce - 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch black pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: Prepare the lettuce ✔ Wash and dry the Iceberg and Romain lettuce. Tear them into bite-sized piecesand place in mixing bowl.
- Step 2: Make the Dressing ( if Homemade)✔ In bowl, whisk together mayo, minced garlic, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and anchovy fillets.✔ Slowly drizzle in olive oil, whisking continuously until emulsified.✔ Season with salt & pepper to taste.
- Step 3: Assemble the salad ✔ Add the croutons and grated Parmesan cheese to the lettuce.✔ Pour The Caesar dressing over and toss gently to coat
- Step 4: Garnish and Serve ✔ Sprinkle with zaatar leaves microgreens, and granola for extra flavor. ( Optional ) add grilled chicken or avocado slices for variation.✔ Serve immediately and enjoy!
